I am a Toronto-based lawyer currently working as Assistant Director at the Innocence Project clinic at Osgoode Hall Law School, where I obtained my JD. I was called to the Ontario bar in June 2018.

I moved to Canada from England in 2000 to work on my PhD in the Department of English at the University of Toronto. I completed my doctorate in 2005, before as a professional editor and indexer in Ryerson’s acclaimed publishing program. Prior to becoming a lawyer, I worked both “in house” and as a freelancer in the publishing industry, and I am also a freelance writer. My first novel, The Crowsbrook Demons, was published in the summer of 2014.

My educational and work experience have allowed me to develop strong transferrable skills in project management, time management, and managing client relationships.
