I am currently based in Toronto, where I am a candidate in Osgoode Hall Law School’s JD program. I anticipate graduating in 2017.
I moved to Canada from England in 2000 to work on my PhD in the Department of English at the University of Toronto. I specialized in contemporary Canadian Literature, and completed my doctorate in 2005, before training in copy editing, substantive and line editing, and indexing in Ryerson’s acclaimed publishing program. I have worked both “in house” and as a freelancer in the publishing industry, and I am also a freelance writer. My first novel, The Crowsbrook Demons, was published in the summer of 2014.
My educational and work experience have allowed me to develop strong transferrable skills in project management, time management, self-motivation, and managing client relationships.
